Course Goal:

Through narrative role-play, students, educators, museum-goers, and more will take time to reflect on the art-viewing experience and explore the basic mechanics of criticism. By creating context through a combined history of art and criticism, accompanied by exercises in perspective-taking, this course teaches ways of looking at art that grant users insight, revelation, and a sharpened perception for the spectacle of art-making along with the tools to share the experience with others.
